Summoners War Sky Arena: Best DoT Team

Summoners War Tier List

In Summoners War, one of the most effective team builds is the DoT build. DoT stands for damage over time. It is also called continuous damage and is somewhat similar to DPS or damage per second, in other similar games.

So what makes this DoT team special, you may ask? In Summoners War, unlike other damage sources, DoT can stack up to 10 times. This continuous damage also ignores armor and damage-reducing effects.

However, the best part about DoT is that it does damage based on the maximum HP of the target. Meaning, the higher HP a target has, the more damage you deal. Because the damage you deal is 5% of the maximum target HP.

These attributes make a DoT team one of the best against enemies with high HP, so here is my recommended team!

Fran, the Light Fairy Queen

For this team build, Fran is going to be our leader. Her leader skill increases the attack speed of all ally monsters by 10%, which means more attacks and more damage. Especially since DoT stacks, we need to land as many attacks as possible.

Other than her leader skill, Fran is also one of the greatest healers in this game. If you’re going to fight a huge HP monster, you will need a reliable healer in the team.

2A Sath, the Fire Grim Reaper

Next on this list is the Fire Grim Reaper. Not the base Sath; we need the second awakening version of him; you will see why.

Sath, by himself, is known to deal a lot of continuous damage. His A2, Deadly Swing, does continuous damage for 2 turns and if the enemy’s HP is below 30%, he lands a critical hit. However, we need him on the team for his passive skill, Living Hell.

Once awakened, Living Hell doubles the amount of continuous damage taken by the enemy. Normally, you would deal 5% of max HP; with Sath in the team, you deal 10% and that’s a huge amount of damage.

2A Tatu, the Fire Pixie

Another 2A monster on the team; we need the awakened version of Tatu for this team build. It’s very easy to get this monster. Again, her A2 does decent continuous damage but we need her for her A3, Incinerate.

Incinerate blows up all the continuous damage stacks on the target and deals that damage instantly. With a DoT team, having Tatu on your side will prove to be super effective against tanky enemies.

Mellia, the Wind Dryad

Finally, we have Mellia. Not 1 but 2 Mellias on the team. The reason is straightforward. Mellia’s passive, Thorn Tree, applies continuous damage to the target on every attack. If the enemy is already affected by continuous damage, Mellia applies one more extra stack of continuous damage to the enemy.

Imagine a team where you have 2 Mellias that are constantly inflicting continuous damage, along with the attack speed bonus from Fran and the bonus DoT from Sath, and finally, Tatu blowing up all the DoT stacks.

This is the standard and most effective DoT or continuous damage team in Summoners War and is used by many players.
